Although it has been a long time since our last post, we have been very busy! One of our members wrote an essay for our Indiana state competition of "What ESA Means to Me" and won 2nd place in her division! We'd like to share Sarah's essay with you here!
I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger something that would make a difference, something with a purpose and now I finally feel like I have found that group of special people! Before I joined ESA Eta Pi I didn’t really know anything about ESA Philanthropic, (really didn’t even know what the word meant) St Jude, Camp Riley or Easter Seals, now these organizations and lots more are very dear to my heart. I love that I have learned so much about ESA and the organizations that we support. The Educational each meeting and the visits to the different organizations have truly helped me to understand each of them. The socials are great! I have never met a group of women that I have felt so accepted and have shared the same love for serving and helping. I have been truly blessed getting to know all the women and sharing in their lives. My favorite part is that everyone has such an amazing heart and always is willing to give without expecting anything in return. I am always so excited to go to anything with my sisters, whether it is our chapter meeting, a volunteer opportunity or just getting to hang out together. I will be an ESA sister for life!!
